Yesterday I decided to test the fingerprint scanner on my new Thinkpad. The process went quite well, and in mere minutes I have registered 2 fingers. After a reboot I was ready to login. A gentle sweep of my finger over the scanner was needed to enter windows. What a joy. Passwords seem so archaic now.

When I find time, I will test the biometric modules for linux. Hopefully they will work just as easily ;-)
